Alpacas are herd animals. A person must have at least two of these animals or else they will get ulcers from worry.
Their fur can be woven into soft blankets and clothing that is not itchy.

Their bones have been found in Florida so they originated
in the States. Then they were brought to South America and now are being
reintroduced back to the States.
